PRACTICES IN PLACE
Before You Arrive
Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a pre-screening questionnaire. This enables us to conduct a rough check of your health status and includes questions about history of cold, coughs, fever, or potential contact with people who have been infected with COVID-19 and recent travel history. You will be asked to complete this before consulting the dentist.
Upon Arrival
Once you arrive at our dental clinic, our staff will check and record your temperature, pulse rate, Oxygen Saturation etc. Patients are provided with hand sanitizer & disposable gloves after entering the clinic reception.
Appointments are scheduled in a manner to avoid rush and to encourage social distancing. We limit the number of people allowed in our clinic at a time to reduce the number of interactions between staff and patients.
Please continue to wear your mouth mask until you are seated in the dental clinic and until you are told to remove your mask during procedure. You may notice that magazines and commonly touched surfaces have been removed. Sanitizer is available for your use.
During Your Appointment
Before sitting on the dental chair, you may be asked to do a pre-procedural oral rinse with diluted Hydrogen Peroxide or Povidone-Iodine, to reduce the level of oral micro-organisms present in your mouth.
Our staff members are provided with standard mouth masks, face shields, PPE, etc. during the dental procedures to help protect against and prevent the spread of germs and contamination.
Air purifier is installed in the operatory area of dental clinic to increase ventilation and help to keep the air clean and safe for your visit. Air Purifier, installed, uses high standard Active Plasmacluster technology that is certified by 31 global laboratories for its safety and effectiveness. Plasmacluster technology can kill various microbes like bacteria, viruses etc. It is 99.97% efficient.
After You Leave
After each appointment, surfaces are disinfected with hospital-grade disinfectants and dental instruments are sterilized after each use by using Autoclave. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our daily lives and this includes your dental visits. We will do our part to make the experience as safe as possible; our office takes pride in our safety measures to protect all members of our community from the spread of this virus.
